Not bad... always loved the old game on nintendo. The archery on this is really really stupid. There is no way to beat the computer as they hit the bullseye 100% of the time.

You don't need to buy any knights... complete waste of money. I always win just by buying archers and bowmen with some infantry.

Jousting is actually really easy. Just aim the lance a little to the left and down to hit your opponent's shield. It tells you when to click. I've found it to be the easist way to win if you do it right.

I luv this game but I've found a flaw. You can win by only buying infantry and just use the bowmen your are given in the beginning. That's all you have to do is "only" buy infantry and a catapult and you can win with easy!

To 1soccerplayer: I tried the technique with each character and won every time. Even against a large unit of archers I was able to overcome all of them with just infantry and 1 archer. I'll try it your way and see what happens.

1soccerplayer: imho Just using bowmen or archers doesn't work as well as only using infantry. Because infantry are the cheapest you can buy more and build your army quicker and finish a lot sooner.

This is different than my other review, THIS IS THE BEST STRATEGY GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!! The graphics are great and the game is just plain unique!

A very simple rendition of the old turn based strategy games of the '90's. It sadly lacks the in depth game play that made those games so popular. Just get the original Lord's of the Realm Royal Edition with a google search. You won't be sorry.

Whenever u are Cedric of Rotherwood always to beat the game do not get any thing instead move your army down next to Geoffrey Longswood's castle because then u get 16 gold. but only do it in the very beginning.

Seems to be a glitch where the game sort of freezes when you get attacked and the enemy retreats. The game stays on the combat screen and doesn't go forward.

This game had a lot of potential for Risk players, but failed to follow through. I enjoyed the game for 45 seconds, but after that I had a lot of issues with slow game play, vague instructions, game crashing, and tedious style. Take a super great idea and throw it together at the last minute, and that is what you have with Defender of the Crown.
