Mystery Legends™: Sleepy Hollow

I enjoyed the storyline and the scenes but I didn't much care for the effects after you click on an item. It was okay at first but the thought of slicing 4 KITTENS? I really couldn't do that and I couldn't find anyway to change the effect. If someone would fix that, I would probably enjoy the game but I'm not going to finish the game.

just the thought of slicing an animal turned me off immediatly. will not tolerate that kind of game...

i think it is time these games get an ESRB rating, especially if they contain offensive material.

i didn't kill any kittens! are you playing the same game? i liked it for the most part. i felt it was open ended. maybe a sequel? didn't know what some of the objects were, but easy enough to figure out.

I enjoyed this game over 1 week.Found alot simiar to sweeney todd game.Enjoyed it very much music was great .Had a good time liked how you could placd cursor over name of what you are looking for and the outline would show which help instead of using up hints.Thanks for a fun time: )

I thought this was a great game. Pretty pictures, interesting story. I agree with gruesomegull, it really helps save hints by seeing the shapes of items by placing the curser over the names. I can't wait for the sequel. I don't know what people are talking about slicing kittens, I didn't see any of that. I'll definitely be playing more.

Superb graphics, interesting mini puzzles, enjoyed relaxed mode & having object outlines provided, especially when seeking multiple items. Got tired of horseman voice quickly so turned my sound off while playing. Look forward to more of these Mystery Legends. I didn't encounter any kitten slicing either BV. There were kittens in some scenes but only some black cats were used as clues that I recall.

Re: Kitten Slashing - When you click on an object, a red slash appears "cutting" it in half and the two halves "fall off" the screen. Happens to both images of objects and to images of living creatures. It didn't bother me but I can see where someone more sensitive might be offended. What did bother me was the constant repeat of scenes and the Horseman's lines. Even the mini games were repeated. Got really boring, really fast. Plus non-ending was annoying.

it was ok game caught me off guard when hessian would talk to you out of the blue cant wait for sequel

I think it has potential to be a good game, but I got bored from the beginning and never got really hooked into playing it any further. :(

Great game with lots and lots of things to find. Could have used a flashlight tho in some areas. Long long game.

This sort of game is why I no longer like HO games. Was bored quickly with nothing to do besides search dark, cluttered scenes for well hidden things. More power to you if this is your thing but if you like to think & solve puzzles in your HO games pass this one up. There's NOTHING to solve - they tell you what happened to victims after you find all the HOs. HATED the deep gravelly Hession voice that often startles you. The few "puzzles" were lame. I won't finish this game - I lost interest!

was this a typical HO game? yes, very much so. but the difference (and what kept me playing) was the artwork and the story. it was like Madame Fate meets the Magicians Handbook series. not the greatest story, but for whatever reason, i wanted to see how each character died. the ending was disappointing, and one of the downsides to this one.

I really enjoyed this game and can't wait for a sequel. The puzzlez were fun, the graphics were great, and the Hidden Objects were challenging. I hated that it ended...

And let me add boring, repetitive, unimaginative and juvenile. Yuck.

This game was far better then I expected after reading some of the reviews. I loved the story, and the graphics were great! Can't wait for the sequel. Games can be skipped, Nothing Juvenile about this game for me. Well done!

I agree. Has its good points, eg. graphics, artwork, voicework, but has serious flaws too. Worst is the h.o. searches where far too many items were too tiny & too dark. Also hated that they narrated each outcome- and afterwards instead of a reward! Felt cheated. Fix the flaws & it could be a great game. Play with caution...

Awful - had trouble clicking on the hidden objects although they were clearly right. Used up loads of hints trying to find if I had the right object but even when I knew I had it was difficult to pick them up.

I HATE games like this where you have limited hints, and a lot of the objects are so hidden in the dark, they cannot be found. What's the deal with limited hints?

Did not love this game, however, I’m not a fan of HO only games. If you’re a fan, this game is a must try. Yes, scenes are dark in areas (adjust your screen), but not so bad you can’t find the objects. Game can be played timed or untimed & the “Help Pumpkin” shadow boxes the objects for viewing. A few easy puzzles. Finished game in 91/2 hrs., but took my time & did not need Walkthrough. HO lovers thumbs up, for me not so much…

Terrific game with great graphics, a good storyline, lots of fun things to do, and is not too challenging.The mini-puzzles are not too difficult. Some objects may be a little hard to find but you can use the hint button to show you the shape of it, or click on it to find the object.

Neat twist to an old story. Didn't need a walkthrough; everything was clear and there were plenty of hints.

This game was unique, didn't expect it to be a complete HO game. I love the storyline, and the puzzles weren't to difficult. This is a must try for HO fans. I completed in 2-1/2 hrs taking my time.

This game has nothing to do with the other Mystery Legends games out there. It is strictly a hidden object game, and the objects are difficult to find.

Loved the graphics & theme but got stuck just a little bit in the game. I had to remove this game to make room for ones that won't leave me hanging.

I find it interesting that some complain about the content of this game. It's based on the Washington Irving horror story. What did you expect? Rainbows and buttercups? I liked it, but it was a bit long.

Was nice and long and moderately difficult so I didn't get bored.

This game was pretty good. Not great, but fun. The mini games were alittle too easy, and although I liked the story and found the objects easy enough to find..... I just kind of thought that the object detail could have been alittle sharper if it had better graphics.

I found this game to be ok. The graphics were awsome but the story of Sleepy hollow was wrong. Which bothered me and if you knew the story if would bother you too. It gave enough hints which was nice and the little poems were well written but way too vague.. want to know even more about the people. Its a game you would only want to play once.

I really did love the whole theme but some of the scenes were so dark and very hard to see. I got frustrated and didn't even finish it because of this.

Very dissapointing! The screen kept freezing and the computer would have tobe restarted. I finally gave up and deleted the game.

I loved the graphics and the story on this game. But the scenes were hard to read, and kept freezing up, causing me to have to reboot. I finally slogged through to the end, but that really ruined the game for me.

Loved this game!!! It's about time a great one came along...not just a good one. Got a bit easy at times...but nothing out there compares. Quick download, smooth run.

I enjoyed this game. But I like the Legend of sleepy hollow as well. It was fun to see there take on it. Yes the back ground was dark but that is what made it somewhat challenging. I think that if they made it any lighter it would have been to easy. Plus it add to the atmosphere with sound effects.

The game was very addictive once you started playing. Some of the graphics were too dark but on the whole a good hidden object game. I really liked the scary theme music and voice. The only negative was that this is a game that you would only want to play once.
