I thought of another hint you might find useful, petralamb. I try to manipulate the tiles in the beginning so that the bonus letters are close together. I look for a "grouping" that I can build on. You can use the "reshuffle key" to do this. If that doesn't work, you can restart the game, and rotate the board before you reshuffle. The outcome will be different. Hope I've been helpful..

petralamb, the best tip I have been given is to manipulate the letter tiles until you can make a 12 letter word using both bonus tiles...this gives you a score of over 12,000. The best players (which I am not) are able to get another 12 letter word out of the remaining tiles. I just try to make the longest words I can and clear the board so I can get that bonus. A "pass along"....sometimes it is better to make a 6 letter word rather than a 7 letter word depending on the value of the letters. For example, qwerty will score 67, but if you add an s you will only score 66. It might make a bigger difference in other word choices. .

It just happened to me!!!! I typed in sniperscopes...12 letters!...it wasn't accepted....then I left off the at the end...it worked...but that was only 11 letters...BOO!!!!.

blueheaven, in your reply you said you left one letter on the bottom row in order to make your last 7 letter word on June 8 and still got the bonus "for clearing the board"...how? I thought you had to use ALL of the letters to clear the board..

By the way everyone, I sent an email to Shockwave and voiced our concerns about words not being accepted (length and dictionary problems). Atom Entertainment replied that my message has been "forwarded to the appropriate personnel". Want to place any bets??????.

Hurt my feelings when I wasn't able to get an 8 letter word with that first q...sniff, sniff. Did anyone make the first bonus word without using a wild tile? I made it twice, but had to use a wild tile each time. Can't complain too much because I made the other two words 3 times each..

With a q in the second bonus word, no need to compete for the u's today...made that one 3 times. Also made the last bonus word 3 times...I didn't want to sacrifice wild tiles to make the first word more than once. I always need them at the end of the game..

Two c's and two u's in one word!!!! No chance of making that one again without using up precious wild tiles...and they were needed today at the end for sure. Difficulty arranging letters for the other bonus words too...found myself making lower scoring words just to get to the letters I needed..not fun...oh well......

#8 for now and 2nd personal highest score today for me...good start for the month...I managed to make the first bonus word 5 times (the m and the f were placed together nicely)...g's and b's weren't quite as plentiful...I like to get my points over 100 with those q's so I used the wild tiles for u's when I needed them. Still managed to make the other two bonus words twice each. I really enjoyed today's game!.

Thanks for the tip miner...put qwerty on my Jumble Jong word list...had to use a wild tile for the p to make the first bonus word a second time after waiting for an l to show up again...and for the first time I was able to make three 8 letter words at the end of the game!!!.

REJOICE!!! I finally did it...broke the 5-digit total barrier!!! On my third try, I used the letter shuffle and made a 10 letter word with both bonus tiles! Third time's a charm!!! .

Difficult to make the third bonus word more than once this time...only 3 u's available...two q's showed up...y's were scarce too...sacrificed my last two wild tiles to make the third bonus word a second time at the end of the game...but it was worth it!.

I've been doing a little math work...there are only 49 letters in the grid...the word limit is 15 letters...you can only make three 15 letter words at a possible score of 3,000 each and a 4 letter word adds 300...a total score of 15,300...if one of the 15 letter words includes both bonus tiles your total would be 18,000 for that word plus 6,000 for the other two 15 letter words and 300 for the last 4 letter word...total 24,300...I'm better at math than I am at making long words...:).

I was so disappointed when the p only showed up twice...but I was able to make the last bonus word a third time by using my wild tiles at the end!!! .

I had to make too many 3 and 4 letter words today just to get through...once I only had 2 vowels...and I thought my eyes would cross if I saw another v or k!!!!! then a z at the end with only 5 vowels left to finish the rest of the board!!! I know I know....get a life!!!.

I squeaked through the last letters....the arrangement with the z and the q on the bottom sure didn't allow for good scores with the highest point letters!!!!!! I had to make a 4 letter word with the z and barely arrange the q to make queen..YUCK!!!!.

I was about to type the last letter of the last five letter word I needed in the second round and that stupid "boss" got in the way...I accidentally clicked on the wrong letter and by the time I cleared the word and began again time ran out...I HATE THE BOSS!!!!!!!.

Please give me a hint on how those high scores are made. The longest link I have been able to make was about 8 letters long. I find letter groups like "sion" but no more letters link with it to form the long words....okay okay I'm whining! The highest score I've been able to get so far is 5,675. I posted that day in 10th place. I made 3rd place 2 days earlier with 5,125...I'm sure I didn't stay at that place very long. I enjoy the challenge..
