Have written to Shockwave again today, have done uninstal & restal bit, but my game still freezes,I miss playing, try each day but all I do is waste time, here hoping Shockwave can help me. Sorry nothing has changed, it is 5 min. past midnight, the score board has no players listed so that is when the l8th scores finished. Still can;t view the scores of our competitors from U.S.A., yet they can see our scores, feel left out, it is good to see how a fellow players are getting on with their game, who is improving, the challenge to improve you own score, love the game, been stuck on it now for now for 15 months, it certainly gives me something to look forward to each day. While I have been away from our game of daily Mah Jong, today I noticed at 7,pm Sydney time when the new game for the 19th started the scores for the 18th were cleared away, starting the new scores for the 19th, before they didn't change until midnight, or did this just change today or earlier in the week. Bring me up to date are we going to see the scores of our American players now whereas before we couldn't view their scores from Sydney. Happy Kong Hunting. Love to everybody, Lorraine

The game today was a waste of good time, why I didn't give up a couple of hours ago I do not know, yes the games lately are shocking, no wonder that the entries are so low these days. What a lousy day, bandages off my hand, can get back to a normal life, then my brand new computer keeps freezing, finally got 3 boards done not a great score, 4634 would have put me 4th, entering my details, I lost my score, during one of the freezing sessions it wouldn't allow me to close my laptop, had to get it started again holding the button 5 seconds, lost the quote for the gas plumber to give to the gas company, problems with transfering data from the old to the new computer. Bye bye.

Zolin99, check out your change zoom level and see if it is 100%, I have in the past accidently clicked there, it is at the right bottom corner on my screen, if it is over, say 125% yes what ever you are watching will not fit properly on your screen. Eleven pm 1 hr to go to closing 166 scores, but none of them are players I know who live in U.S.A., why is it that we never see the scores of the U.S.A. oponents, I understand there would be about************ scores on their highscore. Please Shockwave or ***** Studios, can you have the scores that America sees,shown here in Australia. I know I am 6th out of 166 but where would I be with the U.S.A. score.I love playing daily Mah Jong, but it would be better to know how we all rate.

Bigbig, the daily Mah Jong we play here is either from Shockwave, or through Facebook, same game, don't know why you can't download it though, go to the end of this page click on Contact us & fill in questionaire about your problem, I have had problems in the past, & Shockwave were very helpful, they even tested my own computer by doing some test. give them a try, you will love the game, & we are a pretty good crowd that play here. Hey Plamates, why is it when you played a game at first change over & you get a score bringing you into 2nd position, then the next day you spend a few of hours trying to get something near that score, but you can't get anything like before, I know 2nd & 3rd boards do change, it is frustrating & I will have to be satisfied with my score I got yesterday. Hello fellow players, I did yesterdays game,but when I submitted it, it went off, so tonight I thought I would do this one straight off, thinking I too would lose it, but I didn't but I will not show up on tomorrows score, I don't know if I will have time, my pediatrist is coming & along with other things I may not get back to playing this game again. I got home before the game closed my improved my score by 40, was ***************************, surprising how many 6 tiles kongs, not big values, but I must had got 6 lots, told you last review there were 6 tiles to be had. Had a wonderful time with Georges late sister Doris's children and grand children, perfect Sunday, like the old days. I will continue my Kong hunting, in the morning, 2 good movies on tonight, tv this last month has been shocking. Love to all. Lorraine

Quick run tonight, have to go out visiting family members, it will be interesting to see how far down the list I will go, I bet I am the first one to have completed this game. I am sure I would have done better if I had the time. Littlerednumber1 you are right & I'll take a leaf out your book, & will do the same. WishyouWereHere, time isn't a factor, ever notice how Shockwave put the scores as they receive, most of the time the score with the longest time is placed before the shorter one,so they don't worry about how fast you completed your score.Temperatures Sydney has dropped, very overcast day but will injoy it being cooler & not have the aircon on. Sarahlkbm it is 11.00 pm l hour to closing, game for 24th, have 149 submissions,you are not shown on our score here in Sudney, but I have just read your review telling us you were in the top 100 out of 598 submissions, now how can Shockwave say there aren't different score sheet, well this proves it, I sent an email to to Shockwave 2 days ago, told them the score you gave me what they were and the days they were played still waiting a reply. MareV51 I never have my sound on my computer while playing my daily Mah Jong, on my laptop I have an icon of speaker on my task bar at the bottom right hand I click on that and up comes volume & I slide it down to zero & then click back to the bottom bar, I think it was the same on my old desk top computer. Sarahlkbm, thankyou for letting me know my score of 97/633 submissions in the daily Mah Jong worldwide score the other day, I always thought there was another score for U.S.A. I always check our score before closing at midnight, there maybe about 180 to 250 scores, mainly Aust. Europe & some U.S.A., but many of our players names we know from the reviews are never shown. Pcfrance55 Jan you can only shuffle once per board, either at the beginning or part way through, galabama was saying she shuffled after the green dragons in one attempt, & midway in another attempt. Hope that clears that point for you. Zolin99 keep doing this well, & I will have to come to you for lessons, it is good to see your name in the first 15, isn't it, I try to make it there, but I don't always succeed, I get a thrill when I see familiar names show up in the score board, I only wish I could see the whole worldwide score, I look every night till midnight changeover & the numbers are in the 200's -250's I thought it should have been about 500 at least. The difference in these games, I played for the 9th & 10th & they scores between both days are so different, I thought these last couple of days the games were hard, but 10th Jan. is quite easy, nice for a change, now I don't have to play again in the morning. Hello everybody, board 2 has frozen again, first board I had 1508, would have to get the same on the other boards to do any good, a big ask. I thought Shockwave & I had fixed the problem taking away systems & replacing systems, but I still get frozen boards, thinking of investing in a better computer, but the idea of having to transfer all those files etc. over, just seems to be a big job I am not keen to do at the moment, had this computer is only 18 mths. Jacathome & ladytulip, I have theTime Zone Clock on computer at all times, very handy, it is 3.00 pm Sunday Sydney, 4.00 am, Sunday London, 23.00 Saturday New York, 20.00 Saturday San. Francisco, oh & its 5.00am in Paris Sunday, does that answer your question. When ever I look at the Worldwide Score, I never see people I know who have submited a score in U.S.A.because they have wrote their score in their reviews, no matter what time of day even when just before closing at midnight here.

New players cont. strategy well you will develop your own over time, myself I try to clear the board hoping not to use my shuffle till the end if I find I get stuck with 2 tiles sitting upon one another I try to undo my play about 6 or 8 moves then shuffle, others the board lack your getting any kongs, then I shuffle at the beginning of the board as many times till it gives me a good board, shuffle & undo are spec. tools. I have learnt all I know from players reviews of this last year. Good luck

New players cont. circle tiles are easy because of the no. of circles, lowest one looks like a medallion pr 2 Kg 6. bamboos have their no. they look all shapes, sticks are easy count the sticks& they are colloured tan sticks. Like t9 is bamboo 9 t7 is bamboo 7. Red flower is pr 18 kg 54, Green flower is pr 14 kg 42, maybe other players might be able to put me straight if I have steered you wrong. New players of daily Mah Jong continued the value of a pr is multiplied by 3, eg. DRAGON TILES pr = 40 Kong = 120, bonus pts for 6 tiles the same = 200, 8 tiles = 280. eg. 40 x 3 = 120 for kong, a bonus 80 pts, the 6 tiles = 120 + 80 bonus = 200, 8 tiles = 200 + bonus 80 = 280. Hope you will understand it sounds tricky, why I choose my list at may side is when you have to split a sets of kong split the one with less value if you can't have both kongs possible. will continue.

New Players of daily Mah Jong, continue 144 tiles in normal game, 4 tiles ea. 3 sets Dragon, Green obvious, White looked like blue/white squares bit of red, Red looks like a cross or some say golf flag, then Cardinals north, south, east & west symble with an N, S, E, W on them. Four seasons are the same value as the dragons, 1 pr = 40 pts 4 tiles = Kong -= 120 pts, The Flowers are 1 pr = 50 pts. Kong = 150 pts, highest value tiles. There are 3 houses circles sticks & bamboos will continue.

Mumjam & those who wish to know more about daily Mah Jong, I'll do a series of reviews, to pass on all I know, prs you will know, 4 tiles the same are called kongs, tiles 6 tiles & 8 tiles of the same are called bonus kongs but you will only get these if the board starts with more than 144 tiles, which is a normal game, any less then you have to think which tiles have left out. I always use a list I make of the tiles & their value, eg. 2 pr green dragons pr = 40 pts 4 kong green dragons 120 pts

Doodlebugg2, good news, Shockwave have given me all the guff taking things off & reinstalling, me being so dumb, I got my grandson Daniel to do it all for me, so here goes, hoping no more problem wait & see. Doodlebugg2, I disk cleanup & defragment every week & each time I am on Shockwave I always sign in & out except when Shockwave goes not responding, will give it a go now & see if I have any success, the other problem with my switching from daily mah jong to mah jong panda only started yesterday, freezing seems to be common amongst many other players according to their reviews. It has done it again, I am tired of trying to finish one game I am missing out every day, I tried this morning & again this afternoon, it annoys me with it freezing all the time, wasting time everyday trying to get a score, I had 2040 for big stack 1, then 2022, which I thought would give me a good chance of getting a good score to submit. Hello fellow playmates, oh am I having a great time yesterday & today, have contacted Shockwave awaiting a reply may take a day or 2, not only do my games keep freezing, now why I am doing my boards 2 0r 3, it will switch over to Mah Jong Panda, I go back to the game & switches over again to M J Panda, I have wasted over 4 hrs in bits a pieces trying to submit an entry, I still haven't finished the 3 boards I only get to Bd.2 & I lose it to switching or freezing. Daisyaday, it is good to see you along side of me, I understand what you said, I still have to do Friday's Mah Jong but not until tomorrow. I gave the baby shawl to my hairdresser today, she was thrilled as much as I was,my pattern & design. Got back to my tapestry in my old chair, frame, in my workroom, less time now for Mah Jong, my pain, well, wait & see how much I cope, still reliant on my wheelie walker. Mah Jong doing fine then it froze, time is running out so I will tell you why, my husband drove me & our 30 yr old grandson to the city, for an interview for a full time job. over coffee he gets to trial on Monday, it is not what you know, it is who you know, George & I, being taxi drivers,met the owner of this pie bakery, if he proves himself, he will be on full time, paid sick days & public holidays & annual holidays, A permanent secured position, everybody dreams of but aren't lucky to have.

Vonalm just read your review, 3 strokes it is great how you are coping, yes, I think it is good medicine for us, I'm 75 in a month, had 1 stoke, 1 heart attack in 1990 in Dubai was held by their army, while on a christian church tour around the world, though it doesn't help with pain, hips & knees replaced & Femur now steel, & not much left of the spine, but I can't live without playing my dailyMah Jong, & all the other players urge me to carry on, love reading the reviews. Hi everybody, learning to work around pain, play bit here bit there, had 2 goes yesterday, while George watched his cricket. Shockwave explained there are different score boards, Australia & Europe & very little U.S.A. & another score U.S.A, we Australians don't see, even though I check the scores before closing at midnight, their engineers hoping to fix the problem, when who knows? this is why I never see all the U.S.A. scores. Doodlebug2 when I end up with 2 on top ea other, I swear stamp my foot then if I haven't shuffled I then undo my game about 10 moves then shuffle most times it gets me out, I hate having to start over again because of such an ending. Hello fellow players, 1st game I have finally finished, but I am very annoyed with myself for the poor score, it is like my brain is out of wack, it is like what my eyes saw my brain didn't recognise what I saw, anyhow my spine is killing me, I haven't sat that long for a long time, now it is time for a cuppa & a cig. Shockwave & fellow players, if it was possible to play each board & log it on when we choose, then proceed to next board & do the same for the 3rd board, if we have to leave the game between boards & later resume play knowing that my score from previous board/s played & logged on, I could play until my pain forces me to leave, it would save us going back to the beginning time & time again, how about altering the rules of play. Give it a thought. Think of us old players who would be many Please.

Doodlebug2 & Daisyaday I am on Oxycontin 20 mg Tramal 200 & Fentanyl patch 25mg, under pain clinic authority, use to be enough but pain is a lot worse, laying in bed flat I don't feel pain, but as soon as I move, woops, but I hate being in bed, prefer to change positions frequently, lost of use of legs is recent, you know me I won't give in, hoping doctor will do MRI soon, to continue next.

Doodlebugg2, had many spine ops, 2 disc removal diff. times, cocccyx, later half of sacrum, which has broken again, spine very bad, no doctor will operate any more, bad risk, age & hearrt, can't walk alone using walker constantly, have to change positions constantly, but still crochet now & then, Baby shawl square finished but have to finish 8" edging another 2 or 3 weeks, baby due January. Missing my Mah Jong, but check for reviews twice a day, if I could sit longer I would try a game. Love all

Pova, Dual Pinch starts with 148 tiles, so far I haven't played I tried last night & got the 6 tiles together but then I had to close because visitors arrived, why doesn't Shockwave have a pause button, or some method we can pause a game & return at a later time, I am sure every player would like to have this option, what do you think. Ladytulip, yes the games for 13th, dual pinch is very hard, &there is 6 white dragon tiles, if you get 6 together it is 120 for the kong of 4 & another bonus for the other 2 tiles making it 240 in all. I am bewildered about how to change your favourite games, can you explain more, & we will see if we can help you out. You seem as keen as I was when I first started to play Daily Mah Jong, all the players are happy to help so keep on asking questions. I love the game, happy kong hunting everyone

Shockwave it is 1-45 pm Sydney time, Doodlebugg2 has reviewed that she came 119 in the world best scores, whereas I checked the results here Sydney & there is only 45 listed, why is it that we don't see the scores from the US for another 5or 6 hours from now, being about 7 pm Sydney time. Doodlebugg2 has already posted her score & I won't see it till later this evening. Please can you explain.

LilRednumber1, game with 144 tiles, you can be able to get kongss (matching 4 tiles) over you can get 6 & 8 tiles higher points, forget about speed, click on my name for my profile where there are 95 reviews, many of them will be able to give you all the information you need to improve your game, many times you have to split a kong to continue playing, list of tile values will help you to decide which kongs to split. Fellow players, thinking of the different hours we play our Daily Mah Jong, around the world, I immagine most players would be retired or semi retired from work to be able to put so much time aside for our interest, now that hours changed due to daylight saving, have made my play time 2 hrs later, do you play, morning, afternoon or night, does it affect your times too, my husband would like me to change my routine. Hello fellow playmates, I have found this week, the change over for the new game is now 7 pm, Sydney Australia, we used to change at 5 pm, then we went to daylight saving, it was 6 pm, our time hasn't changed this week but have they changed any of your time. now that change is messing with tv time so I will be doing the game the next morning instead of having 2 goes, when it changed & again next morning, still love playing daily mah jong & our reviews, keep happy kong hunting & love to you all.

Back again, got to get into my routine again. Our youngest daughter Wanda is now wandering around Australia, visiting friends & relatives for the next 3 weeks, unfortunately for us she has left her dogs for Dad & I to look after them, problem is they won't move away of my path, I fear I may fall & break more bones, George won't be able to walk all 4 dogs, so no walkies for 3 weeks, all the dogs get along with each other, that is good. Hello everybody, home safely husband George had a fall, bruised & bleeding but a few bandaids fixed him up. Had a wonderful time, the roses in the wedding setting were beautiful, bride & bridesmaids were dressed in white & mauve, came home with a dvd of wedding. Very tired after all the driving & Motel beds very uncomfortable, will miss 27th game of halloween icons don't know the value of tiles, or what they are suppose to be, very hard on the eyes, love all your reviews, lots of love everyone.

Lalivva, I think Nayabrise should be named MJQeen, who is a lot better than me, also The Pedro who is hard to stay ahead of, thank you for your thought, it gave me a giggle to start me day. We are always hoping that the next days game will be better, but it rarely happens lately, at least Shockwave are keeping us on our toes, hunting for kongs which are very hard to see, yes everyone always run your cursor over each tile on theboard as there is likely tiles we wouldn't think of clicking on.

Hi everybody, didn't think I would make it today, it was a VERY HARD GAME, it was really down to your shuffles sometimes they can rescue & a lot luck along with your own skills, it can be a real teaser at times, how do you other players see the games lately, or is it just my look at the boards, I know they are repeated all the time but some such as ALTAR as an example should be scrapped from their repertoire. Amaizenblue, that is how I played this game, tried playing it shuffling when I run up a brick wall, then shuffled, it still didn't help, but each time I shuffle first I found better options, it is try one way, if it fails try another, trial & error, just like life. Doodlebugg2 you are right, this morning playing, spiral ramps was 288, now this afternoon 186 wouldn't that make the scores a lot lower, I'm sorry that solar heating salesman interrupted my game, starting from the beginning again I'm not doing as well as before, board 2 had changed & my scores are a lot lower, question is, will I finish the game, we are on daylight saving here in eastern Australia, game changes earlier now. I will try again, say its 6 pm, 6th Oct. Sydney time, I log my score for game 6th Oct.& I type 6 after my name, it will come on scores for the 5th, but if I do the game tomorrow my 7th, it will come up the 6th day score, which date should it type when I log on, the 7th the date I actually played the game, or 6th the date of the game. Hello everybody, this thing about dates & scores, today is the 6th Oct, I see the boards for the 5th, flamingo, r/key, squares, the scores for game 5th Oct. , but none of the scores you are talking about, were they posted yesterday, once before midnight I logged on & saw your score nayabrise, Don't remember if there was a date. If I put date when I first do game & log on it comes up the day before, if I log the next day, the day of game, should I type USA or Aust. date, Now I am mixed up again.

Denstress, forget speed, it is getting kongs, 4 tiles together, make a list of tile values, eg. 2 flowers=50, 4=150, seasons pr=40,kong=120, dragons pr=40, kong=120, if games start with more 144 tiles, kongs could be 6, 8, tiles, 4 tile kong tripples pr 2 tiles, 6 tile kong, = tripple score for 4 tile then again the next running pr tiles, again for the 8 tiles. Sometimes you will have to split a kong to get another kong, that is when tile value list is handy knowing the value of the tiles.

KaroofK, Doodlebugg2 gave you good advice, I suggest you make a list of tiles with value for pair & kong (4 tiles) i,e. red, green & white dragons 2 tiles pr 40, 4 tiles kong 120, flowers 2 tls pr 50, 4 tls kong 150, if you find to make up your kongs sometimes you have to split a kong to get another, knowing the value of the tiles help you decided which kong to split or keep. Speed doesn't count unless you have tied with another player, doesn't happen very often.Keep asking questions we'll help

Doodlebugg2 I had the same trouble, hit the enter button 56 times to add my score of 4018, but it never accepted it, I put a note in their contact us report, but it didn't help, is it a message to me, along with my games freezing & they haven't fixed that problem for me, do they want me to give up playing this game, one less wouldn't make any difference to the World Wide Scores I suppose. Dogs, do you know Beechon Freze, white a bit like poodle, I use to care females for a breeder who showed her dogs, thought they might be like yours. We have just adopted 3 yr old pomeranian, Annabella,that was to be put down, Mitsi chihauhau doesn't like sharing.

amaizenblue1, I wrote 2 reviews only one was posted, it was to players & Shockwave about could we post our scores after each board saving us doing brds 1 & 2 over when brd 3 freezes on us, their designers could adjust the game to accommodate our needs, it was better written last time. I waste my day playing over the boards because of the game freezing, too often, like all other players have the same problem. Annoying isn't it everyone.

Doodlebugg2 I finally got the all clear sign and discharged from the health clinic, with only one dressing to do in 7 days, wound size was 7 cm. long 3 cm deep, now 2mm. about the size of a match stick head, they do wonderful work, my nursing sister Sandra was fantastic. Now a new kidney would be nice, but no chance at my age, The games lately take more effort & a longer time. Love to everybody.

Guess what, I'm not playing today, either, I am not that dependent on this game, that I have to play, looking for kongs and having to forgo all the good kongs just to get a top score, I can wait for the games to be more player friendly. Doodlebugg2, yes I do often shuffle at the beginning, many times, but today I gave up,didn't continue to play after two sittings, last night and this morning, instead I did a lot of crocheting of a shawl for a friend who is preparing for her first grandchild. flamingorev, I believe you should make up list of tile sign & their values of 2 tiles a pair, 4 tiles a kong, another 2 they give the bonus, which is getting 4, 6 & 8 tiles all together, it can happen if the game has more than 144 tiles. ie. green dragon a pair is 30 a kong 90, if you then get another pair making 6 it come to 180, 8 is 270, work out the value of the tiles. My list helps, if I have to choose which kongs I may have to split & to save another higher score kong. Forget speed.

Daisyaday, thank you for the tile names, much appreciated, games today giraffe, skyscraper & stop smiling. Haven't started doing the boards yet, aussychick you must have done them as soon as they came on the screen at 5-0 pm Thursday, going on for 7-0 pm. Doodlebugg2 my wound is smaller, measurements taken today, I think another month, grandaughters wedding Oct.24, travelling by car to Adelaide. I am glad the games have improved, they were messing with my mind, looking for tiles that are not there etc. Shame Shockwave can't publish details about the tiles, I have funny names I call them, would like to know what each tile is really called. Hi, playN, welcome, the more the merrier, it seems all wish to know where each player comes from, I'm in Sydney Australia, I think we are the first in earths rotation, yes there is New Zealand, but I haven't heard from anyone there. I did the same today, as yesterday, pressed restart then shuffle until I found a likely board I wanted to play for the first 2 boards, you see where I come to a satisfactory position in the World Highscores. So shuffling in the beginning does pay off, give it a try, if its too hard to do the board or the score to low, if you don't like it you can just press restart.

Talking about getting 6 tiles, today I have had many & yes I shuffled the first two boards, 2nd one several times and my score 4694, but it is midday Sunday Sydney time, I know I will get pushed a long way down, be lucky if I am in the 1st twenty. As I previously said my trial game when the game is 1st screened my score comes up on the previous days play, often at the top part of the score board, I suppose that is called cheating, should the game and score to be shown at the same.

Well playmates a game or two back when it was hard, I shuffled all three games in the beginning and kept shuffling until I found tiles to my liking in each game, the games are different each time you shuffle, sometimes I may shuffle up to 5 or 6 times, it works for me, though I only do it if I am really stumped. Great to read the reviews, May catch up with you all, trying chat, but nobody is ever on the screen. Lol.

Yes, Doodlebugg2, you are right, I always do a trial run like last night, Thursday 9.00 pm Sydney time, I scored 4066 and that was put on the Thursday American time game, here in Sydney Aust, the game comes up at 6.00 pm but the scores for Friday doesn't come up until after Thursday midnight. Does that make sense, that is why you would see my name twice in the scores each day.

Yes, kong is a set of four. I find playing the normal game of 144 is easier, than higher number of tiles you have to look for sets of 6's and 8's, below you have to wonder what groups that have been halved or deleted. Doodlebugg2, remember I said I made a list of tiles & their values, this comes valuable when you have to decide which set of kongs you have to split, split the lower value tiles infavour of making a kong of the higher valued tiles, I keep my valuation card along side of my computer. Today I shuffled all boards at the beginning of play, because it was hard to go the normal way, and by 3.pm Sydney I came in 3rd on World Wide Scores, so it does pay off to change your play. Hello Playmates, that covers everyone, I won't swear by it but I have done this during play, nothing seems to match, so I have press playnow, but then I hit the Shuffle button, and I get a better run, I only use to hit the Shffle button at the end of play, it doesn't work everytime, but when all seems dead, I give it a go. The Pedro, to know the worlds best players, has to be made over a 24 hour period, and as we all play from around the world, it is unfortunate for those who are in the early part of the 24 hour period. Skiddymore, on the main menu shows the fortune and days layouts, in the middle there are, game options, how to play, Highscores, click on Highscores, then your previous scores comes up, below these scores is the word Wordwide, click on Worldwide and you get the top 15 players scores.

Sydney, Australia new game comes on screen at 5.00 p.m., but the scores of previous game stays on view until 12 midnight, there isn't any point of playing, as scores will not be recorded till after midnight, but you can practice your play just the same, I play in earnest the next morning, as after 2.00 p.m. they change the tiles of games 2 & 3, like a shuffle, game l remains the same, I find with the changing of the tiles in the last 2 games it distracts my thinking.

xeridot, forget about speed, time isn't that important unless you have scored exactly same score of another player, I have several trial runs, trying different ways, before I play in ernest for my score I want to submit. Try to match for sets of 4 tilel for the bonus score, sets of 6 it the game start with more than 144 tiles. I hope this helps you.
