Hey guys - fear not, YOUR PROFILES HAVE NOT BEEN DELETED. We've been working hard on the story mode, and as a safety precaution we use an alternative set of profiles. Unfortunately in this update we forgot to revert to the live ones! An update will be live very soon to fix this. Our apologies, and thanks for your patience and support - particularly those who alerted us to this problem.

Hey guys - need to give you a heads up! NOTE! There's likely to be a DELAY in uploading July's races - the guys who upload the files are away on business :( If it's any consolation, when the July races DO go up, the first prize will be a Pro car ;)

To RacingQueen: The problem you have is a limitation of certain combinations of graphics cards/drivers and the Shockwave plug-in. For now a quick 'hack' is to go into Options, then Graphical Settings, Advanced Settings and toggle Effects to 'NONE'. It will remove the glitches, but the cars won't look as pretty. I'll look into a fix for this particular issue. We know what it is, and anything we do will have to be a work-around, so it won't look as nice, but it also won't block your view!

By the way, expect your ranking to go up (and possibly down) in the near future - this is simply a side effect while we finish up the story mode. You aren't actually losing or gaining points personally, so the ranking will continue to be useful to compare your overall ranking with others. We also hope to tie this in to the shockwave**** high score system in the future.

Ripple got the car early as a reward from me because he helped me track down and fix a bug. Normally when people encounter a bug they just rate the game low, say it doesn't work, and slag it off. Instead he worked with me to pinpoint and fix it, for which we are very grateful. In the process he lost all his upgrades, so I gave them all back to him along with the car as a reward. In other words, we appreciate it when you guys help us, and hope you'll continue to do so in the future :)

Heh you'll have to go back and beat May 14th when you get better cars ;) One thing not made clear anywhere is that the more powerful the car, the better it reacts to crashes. By the time you get to the pro cars (or a decently kitted amateur car), you can often just plough straight through traffic, which is kinda fun :) Remember this is street racing - sometimes they want to do dangerous things like racing through car parks (although not *that* often so hopefully you won't get too annoyed!)

Oh and as to why you start with the rust bucket? Well, you'll find out more in the story mode when it's released, but basically you get busted by the cops and when you get out of jail, the rust bucket is the only car you can afford to race in!

Hey guys, we've been looking at your car codes - it's great to see things we've never seen before! A few of you have posted car codes that don't work - we don't know if that's because you typed them wrong (always use cut and paste via the clipboard to be sure!) or if you've actually created an illegal car code somehow. We'll try to include an email option in the next update so you can contact us directly if you have problems.

We are finalising races for June and July now - we'll be sure to add in more actual performance upgrades, and a few cars. Our main focus will be on finishing the story mode quickly - that will give you access to a load more cars, including the pro ones. Gold medals will give trophies in the future when we make the game run with Shockwave's tokens / trophy system :)

Mladenko - you can now see where the prizes are you wish to win, including the cars you've missed. Go into the HELP, and look under UNLOCK LOCATIONS. There in the CAR section you'll see it says you can win the Tantra in April 27th, 30th and May 1st.

Our apologies to those who were using the cheat. We had to remove it so that we can control the prizes and races better, and to avoid problems in the future when we release the rest of the year's races. REPUTATION is something you'll learn about when we release the STORY mode soon ;) As for not being able to get all the golds, that's because for some you'll need a faster car - one you'll get... soon ;) (it's also the reason no prizes are given for gold - it would be unfair on you for now!)

Rradley is correct - the first available day of the year was towards the end of March. As far as only having the Rustbucket, you have to win the faster cars from previous days. A new version soon will list where you win the unlocks, helping you to find the important races you have missed.

The May 7th problem should be solved now. If you still can't see it, try clearing your cache before reloading the game. The latest version of the game should be v1.340 - this is shown in the bottom left corner of the credits screen.

AxleVest - You can see some of what we have planned for the game soon by going into the help menu and seeing the greyed out options ;) Oh, and for the people who have been accessing daily races 'in the future' - enjoy it while you can, we'll have an update soon to prevent it :p

(+cms-Nzn7b-95g7s-cNDiR-2gai - here's another car code to test if the swear filter blocks it! If you can see the code, it's a fully kitted out basic car. Once fully kitted out, they handle pretty well.
