Safe to say I got thoroughly addicted to this game. Won with only Lasers, only canons, and canons and lasers. Time to find a new game.

Just won the game using only Cannons. Build 2 cannons to 4,5,4,3 and play until lvl 25 or 26. Then work on maxing out a fire. Then max out cannons and you're home free. Load up with lots of cannons for level 41.

Finally - Won the game! Thank god. Now I can move on. It can be done.
