Daisy, I agree with Tevob re friend requests. They are probably admiring your word skills and high scores. Unless you know them from DJ or JJ, I would not get involved. All the people on SKXO and my friends list are fellow KOOT or others that have left reviews for us. That is just a suggestion n think SKXO would agree. At first we just had each other as friends. LOL Gradually, we added a few trusted guys and gals. You are an awesome player and should be flattered that so many people admire you.

I LEFT MY GLASSES AT WORK, Trebol, (TOM) said, ......(remember, Trebol had this problem) LOL. Back to DJ, not the fastest game, but still good enough for 5X and breakfast in the TR. Word 3 took me the longest. SKXO and I are going to try our luck at fishing today. The boys have to stay home. They keep rocking the boat and think it's humorous. Only at 42 today because I missed a chance to make a 6th BW. Wasted my B n S on another lower scoring word-JAWBONES(95). But, did clear the board and make 5 BW's. Thanks for keeping your faith in me, Grizz! Thanks for QUAESTOR, Trebol. That helped open the board. SQUEEZED is a nice high scoring word, Cindy. My list runneth over soon. KTKF: LIAR, Tom said FALSELY? (He was a liar himself?) Ear-Shatteringly(he seem to get louder all the time) Back to DJ. Why do the smallest words always give me the most problems(#2)? Did manage a 5X, but only because other words were easy to solve. Hope SKXO does not have SW problems. We all seem to have them at some time. Maw, you have your free TR pass. Use it. Even without making the CHICUP word, I managed 5 BW's and cleared the X board to land in 22nd place. I never expected that there would be a dearth of P's and C's and wasted my last H on HERTAH. Not very smart strategy, but as TREBOL knows, SW is never generous with P's. Usually there are more C's,however. Oh, well, not to bad for X day. For TREBOL. Is a LYMPH a walk with a lisp? In the top 55, with clear board and a record 8 BW's. If not for the small words at the end, I might have ended up nearer the top. I made a lot of 8 letter words, but the plethora of E's on the board forced me to make some low scoring words. Frequent(110) Laxative(110) and Jejunely(104) _higher without the use of wild tiles_ helped me use up the high scoring letters. Earned 55 tokens and am 55th. NPLJ

Wiould have landed in the top 33, had I been able to submit my over 2,000 score with clear board and 6 BW's. However, I commited a NO NO when I restarted due to making a 18 point bonus word by leaving an i out of "CIAMAN." I thought maybe SW would not notice, but alas, my luck was not that good. Did pretty well for a Monday. You'll just have to trust that *************************. Will be more careful tomorrow. NPLJ

KTKF: How about TIRELESSLY? Slow fingers and hooves ended in a slow 5X. But, it was a busy weekend and I woke up really early. Did DJ before fully awake. Wish I could be as skillful as Daisy on JJ. She is really a wizard at that game. She is often at number 1. Kudos to her. SKXO and I love our RHF prize. We won 12 free breakfasts at the Jum-Oateria and Pancake House. Boys love it there, too. Hi Tevo and fellow JJers. Late game, but clear board and over 3,000 which is good for me, but not that high of a final rank. I'll take it, however, even in the top 70's. Still nowhere near our word wizards and pun/definition master, but OK. Managed to make 7 bonus words. Lots of words 8 letter words in the 80's n90's which does not lead to a very high score. Adding PANCAKES(98) and UNBATHED(95) to our ever expanding list. Like the extra wild tiles on Sundays. NPLJ

KTKF: A Halloween Party to remember for sure! It has been a while since we had so much fun. Glad we had an extra hour of sleep. I agree, KJ and his lovely Queen made it a sensational KNIGHT NIGHT FOR ALL. The costumes were all outstanding. There are breakfast goodies in the TR today. Come one come all. Steeds included. KTKF: Last minute Oxygram from KJ. The Halloween Ball will include a complete buffet , snacks, and open bar until dawn. There are several suites available for steeds/oxen or KOOT who are too inebreiated to walk, trot, or canter home. We do not want anyone stopped for JUI or JWI. The Jum Police are pretty strict and cells in Jum-Jail are not comfortable. The boys are so hyper, we are a bit worried about their antics. They are not allowed more than 2 glasses of Oat Wine. Horrid score, but at least cleared the board. Only made 3 BWs and numerous errors that cost me. The one P hint helped, Daisy. I ranked at 101, so not even in top 100. So glad X day is done. I was surprised that I made it over 2,000. I used a lot of the words suggested in reviews-thanks fellow JJers. Those were a help, but I still only ranked 53rd. Certainly not the greatest place to be, but since lots of you seemed frustrated by today's board, I don't feel too humiliated. I think JJ is the next town after DJ, TEVOB1. However, we are friendly neighbors and frequently visit one another. Hence, NPLJ includes both areas. I don't think JJ has KOOT to defend their King (KJ's brother).

The X did me in. I cleared the board, but only was able to make 2 BW and 8 letter words not worth much. Left many of the high scoring tiles until the end. My strategies were really not effective at all. I did make it to the top 110, but that is not much of an accomplishment. What was the Q word that someone used yesterday. It had a B in it. I didn't write it down and now review is gone! Not my best day in JJland. Glad the X is over for this week. Great job MVP. Only 3,000 on board.

KTKF: TREBOL-I think ONLY SW and Merlin understand the ranking system. Many times it seems totaly random. I have gone from 1st place to 80th and so has SKXO for no reason we can explain either. Did clear the board but took and awfully long time and had to finish with a lot of small words. Kept haveing to decide re using U for BW or with the Q. The U's were pretty scarce for me until the end. I could have made an additional bonus word, but then would have had letters left over. This was a harder board that I first thought. Made it into the top 30, but a lot of JJers have not played Good Luck to all. My JJ word for today is HAMMERER(101). Thanks 4 unique words Griz. Welcome new JJers

Here I am in the top 20. Of course only 77 people played. I just made it over 2,000. cleared the board, and made 5 BW's. There were not a lot of P's for the compound BW, but there were a lot of useful U's. Had to make a lot of small words at end to clear board. Not a PB, but hanging on. Great word, SQUAWKER, Veeba. Added it to the list. My word for today is OBJECTOR(101) since I used a wild tile. Best luck all JJers. NPLJ

KTKF: Word 2 kept kicking out and made it hard to subdue. We were able to place it. We did get a pretty good 5X, since we know that a lot of this goes on during the next few months. I WAS MORE THAN THRILLED TO SOLVE THE DOCTOR TS today. Sr and I were taking a walk on one of the Jum-paths and discussing the possible solutions. Suddenly it came to both of us, so I hopped on his back and raced home to type in the solution before someone else solved. Usually, once solved, I ask myself, now why didn't I think of that? Back in the top 35 with a clear board, BW's, and over 2K. Thanks for the helpful hint, Daisy. I finished with the word J--H(any clue as to what I might have made to clear the board with those 2 free tiles in the middle?) OVERTOOK earned 101 and unlocked the H needed for a BW. As Daisy hinted, only one P, buried near the end, made it difficult to make 1st BW. IS the Weekly Format for JJ always the same? Do we always have more free tiles on Sunday and higher scoring boards on weekends? NPLJ

I am sure you did better than I did today, Veeba. I only ended up in the top 60. Daisy was right, this was a real JJ hunt. I played way too carefully and kept hoping for another P. A few 8 letter words, a few bonus words, over 2,000, and back in the top 50. All on the dreaded X day. JEALOUSY(104) twice and WOMANIZE(116) helped raise my score and clear the X board. Thanks for all the support JJers. You keep me going. However, 1SJA, drinking wine before playing, leads to a lot of careless mistakes and wasted words. I could have been a contender, but blew it when we went for dinner and came back to the JJ board. I did clear it, but only made it to 112 today. That is far from my great 26th showing yesterday. KTKF:Those letters were certainly feisty today. They kept snapping at Sr's legs and we had a hard time puting them in their place! Finally we succeeded and because pun answer was easy, we pulled off a 5X. I warned SKXOXO to be very careful when he confronted the DJ words. Today's DJ could have done some real damage to KJ's castle had they not been stopped by our faithful TEAM KOOT. Vanna, even 4X help a lot. Nothing wrong with that. NPLJ

Thanks for all the useful tips, fellow JJers. Not only did I clear the board using some of those great vowel hints, but I managed to score over 2,000 and reach as far as 24. I think this is my best game as to my rank. Usually I am somewhere in the bottom 50. At least for today, I am UP and Coming. Hint Alert(thans Daisy) Homeward(104) and SQUINTED(104). At least we were given quite a few Y's. Wonder Why? Daisy, What is JC? Jumble Crossward? Do you play that as well? NPLJJ

KTKF: This DJ really kept beating me back. Just made the 5X by a hoofbeat. The kept playing with the pun and with "time running out" solved it before KJ was in any danger. Quite a workout. Hope, SKXOX can do better and his WK. Good luck to all KOOT beating back the DJ today. Merlin is done being kind. SKXO had a solution for Meadowstock date, but it did not print. Merlin again. Today's TS-once I see the answer, I think HOW CLEVER. I guess I am not a PUNNY enough thinker. So far solved only 1.JF

Thanks Veeba, but my score was "LABORED" and LOW today. I started out really well, and ended up with AOU left on the board. I kept searching for one more U to make one more BW, and there is was at the end of the tile pile. I did have high hopes when I started and ended up at 105, Nothing to write home about or even to write about. Good luck to all the SMART JJers today. KTKF: Happy Labor Day to all. Almost a PB today with a solid 5X. Merlin did not overtax us today and words gave up and went into place quickly. I am in 1st place now, but that will not last. It seems we have to reschedule MedowStock since SKXOX and WK got caught up in the prep for the event. KJ was wondering what happened and sent us an Oxygram asking WHERE MS was being held...With RED FACES we told him we had forgotten. Kind KJ told us to reschedule. Almost made it to 3,000, but just fell short by a few points. Better than usual for second day in a row. Thanks to y'all that kept me going. Cleared the board and made the bonus words. Two RR's and 2 LL's were not always easy to locate. My word contributiond today are CHICKENS(107) and MORALIZE(113). Good luck to all those that are still going to play. KTKF:Pretty good 5X this AM. Of course our steeds to not need them. They would be horrified. Also, agree with D-A-D re VAINLY for TS answer. SKXOXO and I were have also somehow forgotten the exact Medowstock date. Help us KOOT with better memories. A gourmet hay eating contest is a great idea. The horses will be elated and probably the oxen as well. Our boys like hay and oat pancakes the best, with syrup of course. Sincerely hope SKXO can play today. He and Merlin seem at odds lately. NPLJ

Bhawk and Daisy-you must have both sent over your skills and luck. It has been forever since I have seen over 3,000 or even 3,000. WOOOPIEE-a day to rejoice. I even made my last word a bonus word as I cleared the board. It was a search for Y's(about 2) and P(JJ must not like that letter much). Vowels and R's were plentiful as are F's. My best word for the day was WOMANIZE(116). So far I am ranked 24, but not that many JJER's have played. Luck to all. NPLJJ today!

KTKF: Not a PB today, but a medium 5X. Knew answer to pun before I solved the words. Seems like Merlin was fond of X words today. KJ will be well protected today and our steeds, like Shadow, can rest with some well deserved gourmet oats and hay. Stuart's spitball TS still has me pondering. He certainly is great and has gotten us addicted to TS. KJ would like to add it to the Shockwave lineup. He admits to playing it as well. SKXOXO and I had a pleasant Jum-Bayou ride on our Lances. My game needs work. I think I need a few days rest from this. My scores are getting lower each day despite all the hints. Maybe I'll be REVITALIZED? I have never played so poorly in my JJ history. Maybe I just am not motivated right now and give up too easily? Anyway, JJERS-get those great scores and hopefully I'll return soon. WK-much better at DJ.

KTKF: PB on DJ finally. It has been a long time for both SKXO and me. The Lances were getting worried about our lack of skill. Happily, we have some excellent KOOT backup. SO. K n Q J need not worry. Today we'll see everyone in the TR since there will be many 5X's today. KOOT DAISY n SHADOW seem a perfect match and an assest to OT. Thanks for you hints on JJ as well. That game is my downfall.
