My father is in the beginning stages of alzehiemer (spelling?) but his mom had it and she lived to 98. Does it make me a bad person to hope he doesn't live that long, when she didn't know anyone the last five years?

Enjoyed reading what everyone used to do with buttons. When I was a kid we used to make Christmas trees out of old Reader's Digests. Small buttons worked great for decorations. 43.6 seconds for today's DD.#40 at the moment.

David just enjoy your weekend and forget there is even a thing called internet for two days!!! You deserve a break after all the hard work you do. This one was easy. I placed 22nd. Oldbroad - Yes I am happy for Denny! Wish I could have been there. I live about an 1-1/2 hours away from that track and have been several times. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to watch the race. I'm working two jobs and had to work Saturday night. I already gave notice that May and September next year I will be off for the weekend. Let's hope Denny continues his streak for the next ten races and brings home that Cup Trophy!!!!

moonbeams - I cried at the ending too, but it is just such a poignant message about how every life affects so many people. That includes the good and bad. A good is example is all the people on these games. We all sent condolences to lammgator when she lost her son, and congratulations to nicky on the birth of her son.

I too just start circling words and sometimes they just pop right out. Especially if there is a pattern. I usually do the puzzles while taking a break at work. Sometimes I will do them again at home in the evening for practice. Since the puzzle posts automatically I will be on the list twice. Sometimes the second one is higher than the first try, and sometimes it is lower.
