Congratulations to everyone that has lost weight. playervivian, glad to see you're sense of humor. hugs to you. I stayed with a friend for a couple days last week (couldn't get home because of the flooding) and she has a "Wii fit". Now that's all I want for Christmas.

Just caught up on last three days of games. Glad it's Monday so I can sit at my desk and catch up. Sun came out yesterday finally. Hubby will have to do most of the clean up from the storm. I work eight days a week (Monday thru Friday at one job, Saturday, Sunday Tuesday at the second) so I won't be much help. We lost a riding lawn mower and a couple of push mowers and a few other tools but considering we are fortunate. Hope everyone has a good week.

lynnipoo81 - I live in the southeast part of Virginia. We had over 10 inches of rain. The news reports the tides were 7.74 feet. Isabel was 7.9. Been a lot of flooding around here. I haven't been able to get home since Wednesday. Have talked to hubby and will have some clean up to do in yard and garage. Not happy but it could have been worse. I know, I've been there.

The good news is I had a PG and placed #12 for the moment. The bad news is we have a Nor'easter blowing here and they are saying the tidal flooding is going to be as bad or worse than when huricane Isabel hit in 2003. There will be a lot of homes flooded if that happens. Luckily we raised our house when we did the repairs from that one.

Didn't score well but donated my 99 tokens. Nor'easter blowing here. Many people will have homes flooded. They are saying tidal flooding will be as bad or worse than huricane Isabel was in 2003. My house is 3 feet higher now, but praying for all the people who didn't have house raised.

No hints and #78 at the moment. Nor'easter blowing here. Kids song "Rain, rain go away, come again another day!" keeps going through my head. They are predicting tidal flooding to be as bad or worse than huricane Isabel did in 2003. At least my house now sits 3 feet higher than it did then.

2nd time this week I came in at #2. Played a couple more times to see if I could get better, and got worse instead. Weather here is getting worse too! Nor'easter blowing and raining. House now sitting 3 feet higher so don't have to worry about house, just lawnmowers, tools and stuff in garage and shed.

Misplaced the 37. Still placed #58 which is higher than average for me. MOLLYMOO - "Bah Humbug" I haven't even thought about starting. I guess I will have to face the "black Friday" crowd here in the US. It's the day after our Thanksgiving and the biggest shopping day of the year. Between the two jobs those are the only two days I have off between now and Christmas eve.

Great job David! I have no idea what my cholesterol level even is. I do know I need to loose about 40 lbs. and quit smoking. It will be easier to quit next month when new law goes into effect here and can't smoke in bars and restaraunts. I shoot pool (no I'm not good, just have fun) once a week in a league. Rarely drink there but just being in that atmosphere makes me smoke more. Planning to through the nasty things out on New Year's. Wish me luck.

My father is in the beginning stages of alzehiemer (spelling?) but his mom had it and she lived to 98. Enjoyed reading what everyone used to do with buttons. When I was a kid we used to make Christmas trees out of old Reader's Digests. Small buttons worked great for decorations. 43.6 seconds for today's DD.#40 at the moment.

The bad part is I got distracted while it was loading and 9 seconds has already gone by before I started. I could have been in first place for the first time ever. :-(

Oldbroad - Yes I am happy for Denny! Wish I could have been there. I live about an 1-1/2 hours away from that track and have been several times. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to watch the race. I'm working two jobs and had to work Saturday night. I already gave notice that May and September next year I will be off for the weekend. moonbeams - I cried at the ending too, but it is just such a poignant message about how every life affects so many people. That includes the good and bad. A good is example is all the people on these games. We all sent condolences to lammgator when she lost her son, and congratulations to nicky on the birth of her son.

I too just start circling words and sometimes they just pop right out. Especially if there is a pattern. I usually do the puzzles while taking a break at work. Sometimes I will do them again at home in the evening for practice. Since the puzzle posts automatically I will be on the list twice. Sometimes the second one is higher than the first try, and sometimes it is lower.

I too think it was a pinball machine. As for the red things, I think they were currants. When I was a kid we had a **** of them and I had to pick them. My mother (fathers wife in case that gets bleeped) would make jelly from them.

One misplaced tile (that I caught myself almost immediately) and a time of 1:25 put me 53rd on the list. But the technical difficulties must be stopping a lot of people from playing or posting. I'm not even in the top half of the list of 94. I think the only time I have managed a perfect game is on the one stars. I'll keep trying though.

moonbeams - I know what you mean about feeling bad for wishing or praying a huricane hits somewhere else. After Isabelle hit in 2003 we had to live in a FEMA camper for 17 months. Had to deal with frozen pipes in the winter and heat in the summer. There were times I thought it would have been better if the storm was worse and we could have started from scratch instead of repairing what was there. Didn't get a chance to do any games yesterday and I am really slow today. Work a full time and a part time job and haven't had much sleep the last couple nights. Retta130 - did Cayuga wine trail a couple years ago. The more we tasted the better they got. Came home with 23 bottles. They say the Seneca trail takes two days to do (one day per side of lake). Want to try that one next time.

I just found this game this week and love it. I tend to do the same group of games everyday and not look at all the other ones. Had to add this one to my favorites. Went back and played the archives (some of them more than once) to get the hang of it. Seems to have worked, placed top 100 today (98th to be exact). Know it won't stand but I'm happy with it.

I start the puzzle by just circling words that pop out and when nothing else pops I read the clues to see what I'm looking for. That hurt today. I read the reviews after playing so I tried navy a couple of times and when that didn't take I tried it as van. Then I had to take a hint on the SF park because I read the clue fast and didn't catch the answer was two words and didn't remember circling the first word. Oh well still had fun!!

Although I agree it has similarities to Zuma it is still different and challenging at times. What I don't like is it automatically starts you on the same level you were on when you left and high scores are for one level, not total score. I would rather restart at beginning or have option of level to replay if you have conquered the level. I'm stuck on level 16.

Usually better here than regular RU, not true today. Did that one in 45 secs. and this one over 2 mins. Oh well I have fun anyways. Oldbroad, Denny was close Saturday. If Johnson hadn't hung him out there on the last restart I think he would have won. As it was he did a good job not falling way back when they left him out there by himself.

I seem to be backwords to everyone else. Had to use hints to get me started on words 1 & 4 but got the pun quickly. Hope everyone had a good 4th. I enjoyed the race last night . Although Denny didn't win he ran well and had a good finish, despite Johnson trying to hang him out on the last restart.

Like every one else seems to be doing - flew along until I got to the bonus. Took one hint to get me started and then it popped out for me. Happy Holiday to all our Candaian neighbors. Love the game. Hate the bonsai trees! Also the farther along you get in the game the smaller the objects. Could deal with everything moving faster if they weren't so small.
