Great puzzle! Back in Atlanta with Ginger, Mama and her dog Nikki. Quite the challenge! Most disagreeable of my neighbors was out raking leaves. Took her a bag of lettuce freshly harvested. (Kill 'em with kindness) Whe was clearly surprised. Up early in the morning for orchestra. Hope everyone is having a blessed weekend.

Unusually slow!!! Playervivian, when my grandmama left us, she was in a gown she had chosen. She said she had never gone to bed in a dress, and wasn't going to do it when laid to rest for the last time. Some had doubts, but it turned out to be a very good thing. Hand in there. We're here for you and so are our prayers.

Fun once I got rid of the mirror effect. My brother raises cows on his farm in KY. They've bottle fed more than one little one who lost its Mom. Double duty, caring for Ginger and Mama. May everyone have a blessed weekend.

Beautiful, colorful bird. I think they live at least 50 years. Ginger and I are in Eatonton Mama-sitting. Back to Atlanta with Mama, her dog, and mine on Saturday. Real contest: keeping Nikki (Mama's dog) from eating Ginger's special diet and Mama from slipping her "people food." Prayers for all in need, especially Sandra. Not currently member of Windows live messenger. Will look into it when I get home. Thanks, Doodlebugg, for continued concern.

Good, classic puzzle, but where is it? Ginger is continuing to improve. Had her "beauty treatment" yesterday, which made her feel better and took away the "sick smell". Her groomer comes to the house with a van. Same one she's had her whole life, so no trauma. Prayers for Sandra, her daughter, and you, Lyndac. I know it isn't easy. Blessings to all.

easy, but not interesting. Back in the day, had 4 years of Latin and knew pulchritude means beauty. Ginger seems to continue to slowly improve. Prayers for Sandra and all others in need. Lyndac, congrats on the test results. i have to get colonoscopies every 3 years because I had class 3 colon cancer in the 90's. Blessed day to all.

I know this is different from Halloween, but still tired of genre. Just home from vet with little Ginger. She's lost 20% of her weight (now 8 lbs.) and still tires easily, but continues to improve. Actually ran across the yard and then explored my little garden. Still on special diet, but can expand a little. Lots of antibiotics. She has a "beauty" appt. for tomorrow. Always perks her up. May everyone have a blessed week.

Good puzzle. Cautiously optimistic. Ginger is a little livelier and eating her chicken with rice. Hasn't thrown up all weekend. Even barked when the doorbell rang. She has an appointment in the morning. Had very good rehearsals today. Christmas show is shaping up. Happy birthday to those with birthdays. Prayers to all in need. May your week begin with blessings.

Easy to do, but glad Halloween is here and about to go. Ginger seems to be slowly improving. She's eating a little at a time, but only if she thinks I'm eating it too. It was great that, when I woke up during the night, I could hear her gentle snore from her pillow. Getting her medicine down is a challenge, but my son helps. Prayers for all in need. Have a blessed weekend. Cat owners: keep them in tonight, particularly if they're black. Time to change the clocks.

Not too hard once I got rid of the mirror image. Wasn't up for that. Little Ginger is not well, but has shown some improvement and is home with an assortment of meds. Diet of white meat low fat chicken, white rice cooked in broth, and cottage cheese. Still not very interested in food, but happy to be here. Curled up in the middle of my bed. I call the vet back tomorrow and she has an appointment on Monday. Vet thought she'd improve faster at home. Prayers for Sandra and all in need.

She isn't well enough to come home. Thanks for all the prayers and hopes. Prayers for Sandra and all others in need, named or not. May you find blessings as the weekend approaches.

Love animals. Great puzzle. Nice hiatus from endless Halloween. Little Ginger still not much change. She's taking antibiotics. Still hasn't eaten, but I'm about to try to tempt her with the boiled chicken the vet suggested. I'm keeping a fairly constant vigil over her. I love that little doggie. Prayers for all in need, stated or not. Have a blessed day.

Missed the oval, but this puzzle was fun. Just got home from vet with Ginger. She still has the infected ear (which is improving) and they gave her fluids and are doing a bunch of tests. She's lethargic, won't eat, and has a fever. I'm cooking her some rice in chicken broth and boiling her a bit of chicken. Vet said to try that, but mainly to encourage water. And bring her back if she vomits again. I worry about my 4 legged child! Prayers for all in need. May you have a blessed week.

Wonder where this is. DonnieRN, that's why I save often. Ginger poodle seemed better this morning when I left for orchestra. Had orchestra, Sunday School, church, lunch with Sunday School care group and woodwind sectional to prepare for Christmas musical. When I got home at 5:30, she had thrown up and was just lying around. Won't eat, but drinks water. I'm watching her carefully. Guess who will be on the doorsteps when the vet opens at 7:00 AM. Have to take care of my 4 legged child.

Great photo. Reminiscent of the inevitable poster that graced my walls during 40 years of teaching high school French. Little Ginger poodle is slowly improving, but still in pain. She cries out and can't understand why I can't fix it. Have put up last pepper vinegar and salsa verde. Now the garden is only cabbages and lettuces (butter crunch, romaine, red leaf) and a few peppers that won't give up the ghost. Blessed weekend to all.

Very nice puzzle. As for trains, no, not abolished, but greatly diminished. You can no longer go so many places you want/need to visit. Some of my best childhood memories involve travelling by myself on trains from Jacksonville to Raleigh to visit my grandmother. Particularly loved the locals, as I got to meet so many different people. Always packed a huge lunch basket, which I traded from with local people. it was so much fun! Blessings to all!

Deacons there for single or widowed women...they had cards for ladies to write needs on so the deacons could help and/or find someone who can. I sat next to the new preacher, and he is really cool. rings02, you don't want our rain. It is supposed to ease off for a few days, but many people have badly flooded homes. 4 people have died, washed away by flood waters. Last year, bad drought. This year, deluge. I am blessed to be up a hill and retired so I didn't have to get out in the mess. Please pray for those in metro Atlanta who are suffering from this weather. Many have horrible damage and losses. They weren't in established flood plains, and did not have flood insurance.

Wonderful Monday oval. Kitty with an attitude! More rain today. Atlanta has had 6 inches or more in the last week. Even the preacher was talking about rereading the measurements for the ark. For once, I'm glad my back yard goes down hill. Lots of people experiencing flooding. Blessings to all. Prayers for all on list and those in need who haven't told us. May this week be a good one.

Interesting and fairly easy. Let's all give thanks for the prayers that have been and are being answered. Yesterday there was no rain! Got some lettuces planted where summer plants were. Rain is back today and forecast for most of the coming week. The drought is obviously well behind us. Despite the rain, still have my Saturday errands to do. I'll take the umbrella and try to keep dry. Have a blessed day.

Wonder if I can get in the garden this afternoon. Off to Kroger. Nice sales today and it's 5% off for seniors. Add savings from coupons. Usually save at least 1/3 of the bill. Cute, but very hard! Prayers for all who need them and may everyone have a blessed week. School starts tomorrow in all 10 counties of metropolitan Atlanta. Most of the counties are observing the governor's furlough days, so teachers had to work for no pay to get classrooms and lessons ready. And they're increasing class size. The last year I taught )retired 2 years ago), I had 35 in most of my classes. Can't imagine what they'll be this year.

#22 with 53 seconds! I was wondering about my brain after pitiful scores on the other 2, so this one made up for them. Hot today, but this summer is better than last. Mosquitoes and no see'ums are horrible, but I reserve my anger for the caterpillars I found devouring my parsley. They are now reaping their eternal reward! Blessed weekend to all.

Enjoyed the puzzle, but glad I don't live in such desolation. I got tired of tomato cages falling from the weight of the plants and/or wind during thunderstorms. I got steel tomato ladders off the interet from Gardeners' Supply. This is the second year with them, and NOTHING knocks them over. I'm loving the veggies. Grew my garden entirely from seeds, including tomatoes and peppers. Had parmesan zucchini fries yesterday and salad entirely from garden, including the lettuce. Blessings, all

Beautiful animals, obviously well cared for. Hot in Atlanta today. Upper 90's with heat index over 100. They say there may be thunderstorms. I hope so, as it will cool things down. Prayers for all on the list and those who just haven't mentioned their needs. Blessings to all. Mimi, my post from yesterday was there...and then deleted. Can't imagine why. Nothing offensive.

As Spring becomes summer, these beautiful pictures lift my spirits. I am working on the theory that God doesn't allow any burdens I can't handle. When I had colon cancer, they didn't give me much of a chance, but over 12 years later, I'm doing fine. Moving forward with faith. Prayers for all in need and blessings to all.

PennyQ, so glad to hear you got some things back. Still not over the freezer thing... But coping. Went to head out to get some things from Costco, and car wouldn't start. Had to get new battery. Okay, if things come in 3's, what's next? Have a blessed evening.

Now that magnificent bird has attitude! Love it! Someone left the meat freezer door ajar. Had to throw out about 300 pounds of seafood and meat. Bummert! Now have to watch for sales and restock, though somewhat gradually. And check behind people who go anywhere near the freezer! Have a blessed day.

Stirringly appropriate. I'm on cloud 9 this evening. Got to play a solo on my flute in the special music at church, and even got complimented by the music director, a professional musician/conductor as well as an ordained minister. Now off to get some vaseline to keep the squirrels off the pole to my bird feeder (suggested by the trombone player, who is a professional exterminator/pest controler). Blessed week to all! Prayers for all in need!

I remember cars like this one when they were new, just not so decoratively painted. Good bit of reminiscence! Off to run the Saturday errands. Put in new poles for the bird feeders and those horrible squirrels are at least temporarily foiled. Pole is too skinny for them to climb. If they figure out a way, I'll do something to make a barrier. Love birds, hate squirrels. Have a blessed weekend.

Good picture. Reminds me one of my hummingbird feeders is about empty. My "squirrel proof" bird feeder feeds so many squirrels that the birds have to eat what they knock to the ground. More thunderstorms expected this afternoon. My garden loves the rain and my toy poodle is scared of the thunder. I sit with her to comfort her. Had a great dinner with my son last night. "Pigged out" on crab! Blessed day to all.

Very historical look. I was thinking basilica somewhere in Eastern Europe, and it's here in the USA! Fooled me. Have to go to the garden center--my son accidentally ran over a planter and crushed it. Plastic, even sturdy plastic, is no match for a vehicle! And I know he would come home with the wrong thing! I'll just bring him the receipt. Also have to replant stuff the squirrels dug up. Rats with bushy tails! I don't like squirrels.

I'm a "dog person" and loved this puzzle. One of my neighborhoods has a gentle giant much like this one. Her Louie is sweet and terrified of Ginger, my barky territorial toy poodle. Going down to Eatonton to care for my mother with dementia for a few days. Will bring her to Atlanta over the weekend since I am flautist with the church orchestra. She still loves to eat out, so I'll take her everyday. She counts on it. Gets up in the morning and gets dressed and sits with her purse and cane
