Good luck everyone! I really like the game & I'm looking forward to part 3. Anyone stuck anywhere? I'm goofing off waiting for the next Gustav/Hanna updates so I thought I'd check in. I figure I'll start losing electricity off and on soon, so wish me (& all us down here in the SouthEast) luck, too!.

If someone finds all the dream stones let me know - I've played through about 6 times and I still haven't filled all the jewelry! (I think the game's great; 2 is even better, the jewelry earns hints!).

After the waterwheel is turning, leave that building. Once you are outside, click on the box to the left of the waterwheel door; it gets the electricity running along the wire to the other building. Once you are in the foyer of the new building the electric box is on the wall between the entry door and the Up Stairs. Rotate the electrical conduits to get the current connected to the Up Stairs symbol..

Glad to help - I keep checking back to see if Dream Chronicles 3 is up yet :) Lyn: I don't remember the color order, but one of the jewels has it. If you missed that jewel, I think the trees' colors were in the right order if you can remember them. Red's on top, I think, and black next to it counter-clockwise. Angeleyes: talk to the plant :).

Jul 22, 2008
jgranny - I assume you mean the one that has red tiles that you have to turn neutral. Click on a corner. After that click on squares that are already neutral that have at red touching horizontally and vertically -- that's the best advice I can give you since that's how I do it - and it's NOT EASY!.

Jul 22, 2008
tiffy-one of the jewels give you a map of the final maze (which is where I assume you are - the first one is a lot easier) If you missed that jewel, the way I first got thru (without the map) was to draw myself a map by counted steps - then there are three chests that open with the keys you've been finding, each gives you a stone for the three fountains. The first time I played I didn't even realize there were 3 faces! they're all right together when you've found the first one, step back one .

With so many questions recently, I decided to play through the tale again...and discovered variations I didn't notice on previous plays! In the very beginning, the squirrel, bird, lizard, etc, are in different places ... and so are some of the dream stones and jewels! So I can't help you, Johnskat, since I don't know which is your 3rd jewel! What does it look like or what is its name? (I haven't figured out if I missed some jewels before, or if the variations actually substitute or add jewels).

Laney - I was out of town... did you figure out that there are 3 faces, & three chests? other than that, my best advice (what I did the first time I played this) is to get a sheet of graph paper and count steps until you have the beginnings of a map. Once it starts to make sense, watch the barrels, walls (brick or rock,) and arches. Once I was able to find my way back to Fidget's tunnel reliably, the rest of the maze was logical. If you got the map from the dream jewel, the trick is to figur.

The chess game was hard for me -- it's a "follow the flashing lights" and I'm not good at it. About the sentence, is it one about volumes of books? It's worded weirdly, but if you chose "show all reviews" look at the 4/28 clue by barbee. That's how I got that one.
