Jillandcarl, my strategy is always to make a short word to get those pesky letters out of the way, but I am also never in the top 10, so maybe that strategy is not so good. I would be curious to hear from others as well....

Woo hoo! Finally broke 2000 today. There are some very smart people playing this game. Trickster, I always try to get the bonus words right off the bat, even if I have to use wild tiles to do it..

petralamb777, I also am not afraid to use the hints, because then if you can change some of the letters, you only have to use the hint feature once. Like, if it gives you ?it, you could make lots of words with that. Hope this helps!.

See, and that is one of the things that bugs me about Daily Jumble, is after 30 seconds your score goes down. Maybe they should factor in your time when they put you on the high score list, i.e. someone who takes 40 seconds would be lower on the list then someone who only took 20 seconds..

Hi WK. I always use my wild tiles on the bonus words also. Hopefully we can clear the board today, beacuse that bonus with the bonus words really improves the score, although i have yet to score above 2000..

Just as a tip - it is only the upper cards that count for clearing the board. The lower ones only give you pints in words, you can have some left and still get the clear the board bonus..
