Submitting Scores
How do I submit my score?
- When you have completed a game that has the High Scores feature, click the "Submit Score" option.
- On the Submit Scores screen, be sure that the "Submit" tab on the top left is selected.
- If you're not already signed in, you must enter your Shockwave account screen name or email address and your password. Press the "Submit" button to sign in. If you are not a Shockwave member, press the "Register Now" button to set up a free membership.
- You can then view your score ranked relative to others on the High Scores list.
- Click "post score" at the bottom right to submit your score. Or, if you want to try for a higher score, click "play again" and you will return to the game without posting your score.
- Because the High Scores List has a limited number of rankings, your score may be deleted as higher scores are posted. If you wish to be notified when your score is deleted, check the "Email me" option.
What is the "Email me" option?
Because the High Scores List has a limited number of rankings, your score may be deleted as higher scores are posted. If you wish to be notified when your score is deleted, check the "Email me" option. We will notify you if your score is removed from any of the lists: daily, weekly, and/or monthly. The notification will be sent to the email address associated with your Shockwave account.
I tried to register for an account, but received an error message saying "You must be 13 or older to use this feature."
The High Scores feature requires a valid Shockwave account and you must be at least 13 years or older to register for an account. Please refer to the Shockwave Privacy Policy for more information.
Challenge A Friend
What is "Challenge a friend"?
The Challenge feature is a fun way to let your friend(s) know about a game you played and to challenge them to beat your score. Your friend(s) will be sent an email challenging them to beat your score. The email will have your highest score for the game, the name of the game, and links that they can follow to play the game.
How do I know that my challenge was sent?
You will be sent an email from NoReply@shockwave.com confirming that the challenge was sent to your friend(s). If you do not receive this email in your inbox, try checking your spam or junk mail folders.
Does it send an actual file or just a link?
The Challenge feature sends an email with a link to the game on the Shockwave web site. When your friend(s) click the link, they will be forwarded to a page on Shockwave.com where they can play the game.
I received an error message saying "You must be signed in to use this feature. Sign in now."
To use the Challenge feature, you must have a Shockwave account and you must be signed in. Click "Sign in now?" and you will be taken to the Sign In and Registration screen. If you are not a Shockwave member, press the "Register Now" button to set up a free membership.
